This still life was painted at the cabin. Treasures new and past. The red ceramic jar with lid I just pick up at the opening of deer hunting craft show from a wonderful potter Karen Olson. The iron jack rabbit, a china woman figure, a bristle bear, the back of an old linen frame with the last of autumns leaves scattered around the setting all found at the cabin. I had a great time painting this piece with thick gooey paint and no fear of creating fun brush strokes or color.
