This is a large painting of one of my favorite flowers the lilac. I added my Mom's red pillow from her home. I have so many things of my Mom's since she has passed that I seem to find a place for them in my paintings. This painting is tighter than most of my paintings, but I kept the lilac's and the right side of the painting loose. A lot of chroma for me too, but it was a challenge and a fun painting at the same time.
