Today, Oct 10th, 32 years ago my husband Mark passed away at the age of 29. This was painted from one of the last photos taken of Mark and his son a month before he died. I went to bed last night and knew I had to paint this old photo Mark and Justin. I would call up his Mom every year on this day to ask her if she knew what day this was. She would say "Of course" and then we would talk for awhile. She also passed just recently, I miss them both very much today. This painting is for my son.
