I painted this from my living room at the cabin.... too cold to stand outside ( 9 degrees) with wind. So from the comforts of the cabin I painted what I look at across the lake.

This was painted close to the cabin in Grand Rapids, MN. I look at this bird house and tree every time I'm at the kitchen sink at the cabin. I needed to stay out of the woods for It was the beginning of deer season and I didn't have any blaze orange clothes!
