This was painted this weekend up at the cabin in Grand Rapids, MN. Early morning shadows across a frozen lake, were paths that lead to the fish house. The two paths came from two different homes.

Love this composition with the grapes hanging over the edge. Beautiful treatment of the delicate drape and the glowing reflection of the grapes on it are wonderful!

Gumbe is my bird, a Yellow Naped Amazon. I picked his feather up off the floor and found my black cats eye shooter! Together they make a perfect pair!

This was painted in Texas Hill Country. I woke up and the light was just starting to come through my window. Lucky, that I had my Sol Tek open and ready by the window, or I would never had caught this light and color. Not to mention that I had not had my first cup of coffee!
